Welcome! Please use this site as the starting point for learning about the many opportunities for undergraduate research within our department. Undergraduate research often takes place under the guidance of knowledgeable faculty, through an undergraduate research grant and/or as an independent study research course (498R). The student is able to work one-on-one with the professor or with the professor's research group, on interesting mathematical and/or computer science related problems
